Armstrong Members Unite for a New Contract
Feb 12, 2020
AHF members joined together for a Unity Rally for each shift to show their solidarity and support for a new better contract.  Negotiations have been ongoing with a company that bought the plant sometime last year.  They stand together stong and we stand with them!

Donate to WV Children's Home Society
For many years, the members of this Local Union have contributed to and raised money for a local charity, West Virginia Children’s Home Society. CHS provides food and toys to families in need throughout West Virginia. Through generous donations, we were able to deliver 2 tractor trailers loaded with food, general household items as well as toys to a CHS location in Charleston. They then distributed the items to hundreds of families in WV. It was our biggest year yet. We estimated with donations and discounts, we delivered close to $50,000 in food and toys. We are reaching out to you again this year to see if you would like to participate by offering a monetary donation. Director, Scott Foley, has indicated this year has been just as challenging as last year. Their ability to hold fund raisers has been hampered because of the pandemic. Our members plan to shop for food/toys in December and your help is greatly appreciated.
